This test is an untimed computer adaptive diagnostic test. It's not like your typical pass-or-fail exam. Instead, a highly sophisticated algorithm is used to determine what your child already knows and what they still need to learn in each subject. After a question is answered correctly, a higher level question will come next. When a question is answered incorrectly, a lower level question will come next. This process will continue on for the duration of the test to pinpoint your child's specific and unique academic abilities. It is normal to get half of the questions incorrect, so please be mindful of this and communicate to your child how this test works so they will not get discouraged when they don't know the answer to a question.

It is suggested to have your child stop and save their test every 15 minutes to take breaks, or as needed.

When should my child take this test?  It is recommended to have your child take this test 3 times during the school year--Fall, Winter, and Spring, so that you can use their test results to measure your child's growth and progress for the school year! ​​

How soon can I receive my child's test results?  After each subject's test is completed, the results are usually immediately available in your child's student account. You may need to log out and log back in for the test report to sync. If your child's test results are not available immediately and you have paid for rush services, please text 850-723-4151 and request to have your child's test results sent to you.

Rush Service Available!  If you need your child's test setup within 24 hours or less, we offer rush testing setup for $50. This service includes setting up your child's testing account and sending you test results, if you don't see your child's test results in your child's account as soon as desired. The test results can sometimes take up to 2 days to sync to the account, especially on weekends. So paying for rush service would allow you to text 850-723-4151 at anytime to request the testing report after your child completes their test.

What is a Learning Path? After your child completes the Exact Path diagnostic test, a Learning Path is automatically generated which is made up of a sequence of customized lessons based on your child's test results. It is focused on the skills your child is ready to learn next. It is adaptive learning at its best--adjusting based on how your child performs! Your child will move ahead to the next skill after mastery. Building Blocks will be added if your child needs additional help. It is recommended that your child use Learning Paths for a minimum of 40 minutes per week in each subject. Access to your child's Learning Path for the entire 2024-25 school year can be added as a one-time non-refundable fee for $250.
